Goldsmiths University, the London institution famous for producing music artists like Damon Albarn and Bestival organiser Rob Da Bank, among many others, are seeking help for a psychology study.
Prof Lauren Stewart and placement student Iris Menke are looking for London-based musicians, DJs, and music aficionados to help them understand better how the brain processes music and why it differs in people and specifically the role of musical engagement.
Stewart said: "We are very interested in looking at how musical engagement is associated with, or dissociated from musical training across the general population.
"We are especially interested in people who are highly engaged with music but have not received formal musical training. We have prepared a very short online survey (approx. 5 minutes) and would be very grateful for your participation!"
